London Fashion Week is now well and truly in full swing titillating all fashion followers with sneak previews of what’s to come in Autumn/Winter 2011.
With 65 catwalk shows and 45 salon shows over the next 6 days, featuring an incredible 170 UK and International designers, we can barely contain our excitement!
Shows will be running from 9am until gone 8pm in the evening at various locations across the city. This year, fashion is not only pushing the boundaries of design, but it is also creating a technological stir with some designers streaming their shows live to projection screens at Piccadilly Circus and on billboards throughout the underground.
Giles Deacon unveils his Autumn Winter 2011 collection next Monday at 7.30. His playful, fun and innovative styles have always created a stir in the industry, and we can’t wait to see what he has up his designer sleeves this season!

Emmys, Baftas, Grammys, SAG’s, Golden Globes and finally last night the Brit Awards…The red carpets of the world have been filled with amazing fashion statements and some fashion flops .
Although the dresses have been a delight to look at, we have been paying more attention to the accessories on the Red Carpet. Accessorizing was never the easiest thing, but we all know how much it is crucial to get it right. Accessories can change an outfit from a miss to a hit!

Dusty pinks and romantic reds have been spotted all over the catwalks at New York Fashion Week, getting everyone well and truly in the Valentine’s spirit. Silk was the material of choice for anything from flowing dresses, belt details and delicately draped blouses.
But this year fash-pack has taken a more functional approach, teaming hefty outerwear over feminine flowing dresses. Padded industrial fabrics and bulky fastenings were used in contrast to the silk, roughing up the romantic look, whilst still keeping it fun and flirty. The result is a tough-luxe look, which is pretty AND practical – think Kate Moss’s in the 1990’s.
The grunge theme extended through many of the shows last weekend, with chunky knits, ripped tights and wide legged flared trousers taking centre stage over more structured tailored styles.
This winter’s trends seem to be very wearable and will keep you super snug – whilst staying stylish!
